Catalyst.

As Sr. Director in Corporate Strategy Office, led Intel Corporation CEO level discussions that seeded formation of x86 advisory group in partnership with AMD. Fostered executive discussion on forming a data center custom silicon business, subsequently followed by Nvidia and Intel 2025 announcement partnership on customized chips. Led one of five annual companywide strategic technology discussions on pivoting product roadmaps from pure performance to performance/ watt (efficiency). Subsequently, much longer laptop battery life (Lunar Lake) and high-density data center core products were introduced.

Leader.

Led software development team transformation from waterfall to a Lean and Agile model, releasing new features
every two weeks. Implemented processes such as continuous integration, automated testing, test first development and rigorous After Action Reviews (AAR’s) that dramatically reduced software defects, achieving zero defects over a consecutive six-month period. Co-chaired launch of Open Compute Project’s Sustainability tenet in collaboration with industry leaders to define standards focused on energy efficiency and modular design standards for data center systems and components.

Coach.

Eartnered with University of Arizona, UC San Diego, and more recently Cal Poly State University in coaching graduate business students in areas of research, analysis, developing proposals, and hosting executive discussions. Designing and teaching client consulting course for Cal Poly State University MBA students in April 2026. University of Arizona team coach at International Business Case Competition held in Montreal. Coached and guided dozens of friends and colleagues on Grand Canyon 23 mile Rim-to-Rim hikes over a ten-year period.

Explorer.

Gained evening access to University of Arizona’s Mt. Lemmon space observatory, imaging NGC 925 galaxy with leading clarity as of 2010. Integrating telescope, camera sensor and image processing, captured moon Io casting its shadow on Jupiter, and a supernova event in M101 galaxy. Built a full-scale flight simulator. Restored a 1989 NeXT Workstation, installed software tool chain, and coded a Chess program that evaluated 1,500 moves/sec, and re-compiled, evaluated 18 million moves/sec on a Mac M4 Mini. At 14, youngest contributor to be published in Learn, a Texas Instruments Programmable Calculator periodical. Avid published photographer.
