What It Is

Nemertes Adaptive Leadership Training (ALT) uses a structured, proven methodology for training your team to make quick, effective decisions. Nemertes’ decades of technology and leadership expertise paired with Donald Vandergriff’s groundbreaking, military fast-response training provides the foundation for this offering.

Based on the principles of outcome-based learning (OBL) deployed in military training around the world, ALT employs facilitated, immersive, problem-centric decision-making exercises. This training is designed to take participants out of their comfort zones and provide them with the tools needed to respond in a fast, agile, and effective fashion to changing requirements and situations.

What You Get

ALT Foundational takes small teams of individuals through a carefully structured sequence of workshops, guiding participants to develop and strengthen key leadership capabilities.

Program participants come away with enhanced abilities in:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Decision making in the face of confounding variables
  • Taking action under time pressure
  • Effectively adapting to a rapidly-changing environment

Graduates of this program receive a “Certificate of Completion, Foundational ALT.” As follow-on to the training, participants also have the option of participating in an ongoing ALT graduate seminar, through which participants continue to meet with ALT facilitators and to further their leadership skills.
