Most midmarket customers (63.3%) buy their social software solution directly from the vendor. The remaining 36.7% buy their social software solution from a Value Added Reseller (VAR). A similar percentage receives their support for their solution in the same fashion, 66.3% direct from vendor, and 33.7% from a VAR. In the midmarket segment, 43.4% use an on-premises solution, 43.4% use a cloud solution, and the remaining 13.3% deploy through a hybrid cloud/on-premises model.
